Hope Worldwide is a non-profit, charity organization founded in 1991 and headquartered in Philadelphia, PA.  Our mission is as simple as our name, for we seek to provide Hope to a hurting world.  Hope is a non sectarian organization committed to helping the needy regardless of race or religion.

Hope Worldwide Bahamas started 12 years ago and was incorporated in November 1999.  Some of Hope’s community projects include providing food and clothing to needy families, organizing blood drives (HOPE holds the best record of blood donations at the blood bank), and hosting an annual Thanksgiving event at the Geriatrics Hospital every November.

In 2001, HOPE Worldwide Bahamas decided to focus its efforts towards serving needy children in The Bahamas and meeting some of their physical, social and emotional needs.   In August 2001, the annual KIDZ SPLASH was launched beginning with the children of the Kemp Road Area. 

The campaign to become the national advocates for children rights was launched in April 2002 with a community Fun-Run-Walk and part of the proceeds was given towards meeting the needs of a child.

Every year since 2002, HOPE has used funds collected from the registration forms and sponsor sheets to meet the medical needs of a child in The Bahamas.
